To facilitate the preparation, coordination, and finalization of matters for presentation and discussion during the upcoming 3rd Quarter CY 2026 Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council–Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PPOC–PADAC) Meeting, the PPOC–PADAC Technical Working Group (TWG) convened on August 18, 2026, at the DILG Lanao del Norte Provincial Office Conference Room, Pigcarangan, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

Led by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Lanao del Norte, the meeting was participated by key representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, and Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO).

The TWG discussed and deliberated on key matters in preparation for the upcoming Joint PPOC–PADAC Meeting, including the proposed agenda; reporting protocols and presentation of updates and accomplishments; proposed resolutions for consideration and adoption; tasking and assignments; and updates on matters arising from the previous meeting, particularly the status of identified concerns, commitments, recommendations, and action points.

Ultimately, the conduct of the TWG meeting aims to ensure that the upcoming Joint PPOC–PADAC Meeting is well-prepared, focused, coordinated, and responsive to current peace and order and anti-drug concerns in the province. Through sustained collaboration among concerned agencies, the TWG contributes to the effective implementation of coordinated interventions toward the promotion of safe, peaceful, orderly, and drug-free communities in Lanao del Norte.
