SEVEN LGUS AWARDED WITH “2020 BEST PERFORMING PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL” IN MISAMIS ORIENTAL

On March 30, 2021, Governor Yevgeny Vincente B. Emano, PNP
Director Raniel M. Valones, 58^th IB Commander  Ricky Canatoy and DILG Mis. Or. Provincial
Director Engr. Marisia C. Naybe presented the plaques and cash awards to the best
performing peace and order councils of the cities and municipalities of Misamis
Oriental at the Harbor Lights Hotel and Restaurant, Cagayan de Oro City. 

The awarding ceremony was conducted simultaneously with the
Joint PPOC, PDDRMC and PADAC Meeting. 

PD Naybe spearheaded and facilitated the conduct of the Search
for “MISAMIS
ORIENTAL’S SEARCH FOR PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL (POC)” where cities
and municipalities assessed on submitted MOVs based on the criteria of the SGLG
under the Peace and Order Performance area, viz:

II.   Trainings initiated by the LPOC

 The Search Committee is chaired by the DILG together with
the representatives from PNP, PDEA and CSO. The following LGUs were declared as
