CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Apr. 28 — DILG 10 shows all-out support of the Department’s Halina’t Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay (HAPAG) sa Barangay Project by means of launching its own version in the regional office grounds.

Acted on this day, the regional personnel come together with full participation for the plot gardening of the said project through planting at least one crop.

DILG 10 Regional Director Wilhelm M. Suyko, CESO IV, enjoined all offices to start their HAPAG Project as one of the thrusts of the current administration to address hunger and ensure food security in the country.

“This (HAPAG) project is one of the President’s initiatives to counter hunger and ensure food security in the country. This is why I am encouraging all offices and each one of you to establish your own HAPAG at home,” encouraged RD Suyko.

The launching activity was graced by RD Suyko, along with Director Edward G. Bhagwani, FAD Chief Milagros A. Felisilda, and SAO Maria Ana C. Casiño.

Moreover, some provincial, city, and municipal offices in the region also took the initiative to establish their own vegetable garden to sustain the advocacy of the project and further promote active community involvement and public awareness.
