PTAT ALL SET FOR SBDP IMPLEMENTATION

The Project Technical Assessment Team (PTAT), spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-10, is all set for the implementation of the Local Government Support Fund – Support to Barangay Development Project (LGSF-SBDP) this year.

This was affirmed during the conduct of the virtual coordination meeting with concerned Regional Line Agencies (RLAs) on February 5.

The meeting is called to pave way in providing technical assistance to indigent individual and families of the identified recipient barangays through presenting the different service deliveries of the RLAs.

This includes Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), agricultural and livelihood projects [Department of Agriculture (DA)], technical skills training [Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)], livelihood and emergency program [Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)], provision of programs to roll a business [Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)], among others.

Further, these agencies provided discussion on the mechanisms and standards that are being used in the implementation of the projects. This was also part of the Department’s efforts to provide technical assistance to the recipients of LGSF-SBDP. (DILG 10/LGCDD/Merryane Rose S. Bacud) (Revised copy/DILG10/Princess Jia Andriza Artajo)
