LGA REINFORCES DILG-LGRRC 10 FOR 2025 CAPDEV INTERVENTIONS
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Feb. 18 – The Local Government Academy (LGA), the training arm of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), has strengthened its capacity development initiatives for the Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) and Sub-LGRRC members in Region 10.
As a dynamic and interactive convergence platform, the LGRC plays a crucial role in transforming the DILG into a knowledge-centric organization, fostering learning communities dedicated to local governance excellence through knowledge-sharing and innovation.
In line with its commitment to providing evidence-based, responsive, and targeted capacity development (CapDev) solutions for both LGUs and DILG stakeholders, the LGA conducted a series of consultation workshops with LGRRC 10 and Sub-LGRRC members. These workshops aimed to assess current programs, identify areas for collaboration, and develop strategic plans for 2025 to enhance service delivery and governance at the local level.
Through these efforts, the LGA reaffirms its commitment to strengthening LGUs by equipping them with the necessary tools, knowledge, and partnerships to drive effective and sustainable local governance.
