DILG 10 participated in the joint launching of eGov PH in Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental on March 27, 2025, at the SM Downtown Event Hall. The activity brought together key stakeholders from government and the private sector to discuss the digital transformation of public services and its impact on local governance.

The eGovPH initiative, led by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), aims to integrate digital solutions in government operations to streamline processes, improve accessibility, and enhance efficiency. The event gathered key stakeholders, including local government units (LGUs), national government agencies, and private sector representatives, to discuss the crucial role of digital transformation in governance.

As the primary agency overseeing local government operations, the DILG plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of eGov PH across LGUs. Through its advocacy for digitalization, the Department continues to support LGUs in adopting innovative technologies that improve public service delivery, enhance transparency, and foster citizen engagement.

DILG 10 was represented by Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) Chief Hazel L. Occeña, who emphasized the significance of eGov PH in local governance, particularly in automating services such as business permit applications, local tax payments, and other essential transactions. By integrating these digital solutions, LGUs can provide faster, more efficient, and more accessible services to their constituents.

The event concluded with a ceremonial commitment from participating agencies and LGUs, marking a significant step toward a more digital and efficient government.
