DILG-ILIGAN AWARDS 15 PERFORMING BRGYS
ILIGAN CITY, January 29 – To start the year 2021 with
positive vibes, DILG-Iligan City Field Operating Unit surprised the Barangay
Officials with the awarding of certificates to the 15 deserving barangays who
demonstrated prompt compliance to directives even on a short notice.
City Director Edward
G. Bhagwani, awarded the Certificates of Appreciation to the barangays on the
basis of how quick and timely their response to the call of compliance and
submission of the Accomplished Data Capture Form (DCF) of Barangay Officials
for their Training Needs Assessment (TNA).
Ranked according to
their submission, the awardees are the following: Barangay Tipanoy, Tubod,
Upper Hinaplanon, Maria Cristina, Sto. Rosario, Hinaplanon, Ditucalan, Acmac,
Puga-an, Pala-o, Kiwalan, Buru-un Sta. Elena, Poblacion and Tambacan.
Program Manager
Elizabeth Buna said that the giving of certificates serves as a “Pat on the
Shoulder” to the performing Barangay Officials. She hopes that it motivates
others to perform better and demonstrate more commendable efforts in the
performance of their duties and responsibilities in managing their affairs in
the pursuit for good local governance at their respective area of jurisdiction.
PM Buna further
explained that the data generated from the DCF will be the basis of the
department in coming up with Capacity Development Interventions and Enhancement
