Accountability process was also discussed by the City Accounting staff.

The activity was conducted as a prelude to the succeeding financial management and accountability capacity building to be conducted by the Commission on Audit and other offices in-charge of public fund management and accountability.

“SK should be mindful of their responsibility and accountability as public officials and must be prudent in handling their funds,” DILG City Director Jane J. Docallos stressed.

Further, she said that, “SK funds are primarily for the empowerment and development of the youth, and programs, projects and activities therein must be aligned in furtherance of the vision and goals of their respective barangays and the city as a whole.”
