DILG-BUKIDNON PREPS TAC MEMBERS FOR CDP ASSESSMENT

Bukidnon, March 15 – To further strengthen the alignment of plans and provincial oversight functions, the members of the Comprehensive Development Plan – Technical Assessment Committee (CDP-TAC) this province recently convened to prepare for the CDP Assessment on May.

DILG Program Manager Rowena B. Bade said the purpose of the assessment is to ensure the compliance and harmonization of the component cities and municipalities’ CDPs to the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) and Provincial Development Investment Program (PDIP).

During the activity, parameters for the assessment and the prescribed roles and functions of the members were also discussed. Assessment forms were also presented by LGOO II Engr. Marie Joy Galleros. Planning Officer Ladizar Guno from the Provincial Planning Development Office (PPDO) led the simulation of the assessment through CDP risk-informed lens.

Per DILG Memo Circular No. 172, series of 2018, oversight functions of the national and provincial government, acknowledge the need to strengthen vertical and horizontal alignment of the local plans. As PM Bade said, the planning will not be successful if not consultative.
