RD Suyko expressed his full support for the launching and highlighted that collaboration between partners is essential to achieve effective interventions.

“DILG 10 is one with you in this continuing engagement on launching the PMNP Program and in recognition that full collaboration with stakeholders is vital in strengthening the high-impact nutrition interventions at the local level,” he said.

RD Suyko further urged the participating LGUs to support such endeavor.

The PMNP,  with DOH as its lead implementer, covers 11 LGUs in Region 10 which are the Municipalities of Cabanglasan, Kalilangan, San Fernando, Talakag, Baroy, Kauswagan, Maigo, Matungao, Pantar, Salvador and Tubod. These LGUs will receive packages of support of performance-based grants (PBG) and input support packages such as primary health care and nutrition commodities, municipal grant allocation (MGA) for the covered barangays, and capacity building and technical assistance packages.
