The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-10 orients all field operating units in the region regarding the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment Criteria and activities for implementation.

“With the introduction of new and upgraded criteria, and gradual inclusion of outcome-based and outcome-oriented parameters, SGLG continues to serve as an instrument in fostering a culture of good performance among LGUs nationwide,” said Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe.

Assistant Regional Director Yvette Tolentino Sunga added that, “SGLG puts importance to the integrity, not just in the performance, bur of the people working in the local government.”

The two (2)-day review and planning-workshop also discussed the major accomplishments in 2021 SGLG, Executive Order No. 70 deliverables and timeline, and other updates on the local government transition.

To help the field offices in planning and strategizing on how they can effectively and efficiently deliver their tasks, various requirements and timeline of the different PPA performance audits were presented and discussed.

The activity was conducted on January 13 to 14, 2022 at Chali Beach Resort and Conference Center which was attended by the City/Provincial Directors, Cluster Heads, Program Managers and other concerned LGOOs. (R10/RO/LGMED/Arjelu Johanys Galpo // Revised Copy/LGCDD/Princess Jia Andriza Artajo)
