DILG 10 ORIENTS LGUS ON PHILIPPINE ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUGS STRATEGY POLICIES

In line with the implementation of the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS) Policies and in preparation to the conduct of CY 2019 & 2020 ADAC National Performance Audit, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 10 conducted Roll-out orientation to Provinces/HUCs on these following dates:

 

·        Misamis Occidental – April 6, 2021

·        Lanao del Norte and Iligan City – April 7-8, 2021

·        Bukidnon – April 13, 2021

·        Camiguin – April 16, 2021

·        Misamis Oriental & Cagayan de Oro City – April 19-20, 2021

 

One of the objectives of the said functionality audit is to assess the functionality and effectiveness of local ADACs based on existing issuances and policies. Further, this intends to determine ADAC-initiated and/or – endorsed innovations and best practices at all levels.

 

With the ADAC National Performance Audit, it creates a platform for evaluation and assessment, recognizing the best, effective, and performing ADACs—all in line with President Duterte’s administration strategies and programs in addressing the nation’s drug use problem.

 

Topics discussed during the abovementioned orientation are the following:

1.   Overview of the Special Drug Education Center (SDEC)

2.   2019 & 2020 ADAC Performance Audit

3.   ADAC-Functionality Monitoring System

 

 

Participants for this activity were the LGU-ADAC Focal Persons, C/MLGOOs and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (PSWDO) from each Provinces/HUCs.
