DILG-10 gears up for Level II accreditation of HRM

To be accredited as a Human Resource Management (HRM) at level with global standards, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 10 (DILG-10) is currently undergoing an accreditation for the department to be certified as Maturity Level II in Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

In PRIME-HRM, Civil Service Commission (CSC) assesses the agency’s human resource management systems, competencies, and practices towards human resource excellence.

To be accredited as Maturity Level II or Process-defined HRM, the Department should establish sets of defined documented standard operating processes that uses some computer-based system to assess and measure efficiency of performance.

In this connection, Director II Atty. Cosette B. Maglasang-Mundo of the Civil Service Commission Field Office (CSC-FO) of Misamis Oriental conducted an orientation-workshop on PRIME-HRM on March 6, 2019 at the Regional Office.

It was attended by the Assistant Regional Director Edward G. Bhagwani, Division Chiefs, and members of the Regional Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (RHRMPSB), Performance Management Team (PMT), and Regional Parangal Committee (RPC).

Atty. Maglasang-Mundo emphasized the importance in the creation of Equal Employment Opportunity Policy (EEOP) in accordance to the Department’s thrust.

EEOP promotes equality in the selection, promotion, training, scholarship grants, performance management, and recognition regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, marital status, and physical disability.

As a commitment to continually achieve organizational excellence, DILG-10 is committed to comply with the requirements set for the Level II accreditation.
