MANILA HOTEL, December 13 — Fourteen (14) Northern Mindanao local government units were recognized during the National Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Awards for executing exemplary performance in implementing the national government’s anti-illegal drugs campaign.

 

The following LGUs are the national awardees from Region 10:

· Province of Camiguin

· Catarman, Camiguin

· Guinsiliban, Camiguin

· Sagay, Camiguin

· Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte

· Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte

· Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte

· Magsaysay, Lanao del Norte

· Matungao, Lanao del Norte

· Nunungan, Lanao del Norte

· Sapad, Lanao del Norte

· Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte

· Tangcal, Lanao del Norte

· Concepcion, Misamis Occidental

 

Secretary of the Interior and Local Government (SILG) Atty. Benjamin Abalos, Jr., highlighted in his message that the current administration will proactively strengthen the war against illegal drugs.

“The intensity (anti-drug campaign) will be as the same as that of the previous administration. But this time around, sisiguraduhin namin na walang babaril sa likod namin, wala kaming kabaro sa PNP […] I’m sure we will win this war,” he said.
