Cagayan de Oro City, September 8, 2026 | The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region X, through the Office of the Regional Director–Project Development and Management Unit (ORD-PDMU), conducted a one-day technical refresher, standardization workshop, and orientation on the preparation and review of Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Program of Work (POW) documents.

The activity aimed to strengthen the technical knowledge and competencies of LGU engineers and technical personnel in the proper preparation of complete, accurate, and compliant DED and POW documents. It emphasized the application of relevant engineering standards, policies, and documentary requirements, while also highlighting common deficiencies observed during technical reviews and the appropriate corrective measures to address them and improve the overall quality of project documentation.
